    Katrina Sriranpong is a passionate Vancouver philanthropist, lawyer, and mother of two. Katrina is of Thai descent but was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she lives with her husband and two children. She attended the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. She extended her educational journey by pursuing further studies in England, the United Kingdom, at the University of Leicester and Oxford University. She was admitted into the Law Society Admission Program and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2012 and the Bar of Alberta in 2013.

     

    Katrina Sriranpong’s passion for philanthropy is exemplified through her strong and consistent support of charities and initiatives devoted to anti-human trafficking, especially of children, assisting refugees, caring for orphans, and advocating for animal rights and protection. She has a deep interest in aiding vulnerable populations and has dedicated herself to a number of humanitarian causes.

     

    As a former immigration and refugee lawyer in Vancouver, Katrina Sriranpong spent much of her professional legal career assisting refugees and immigrants navigate the complex web of immigration law and policy, which is an ever-changing landscape. She has also been a vocal advocate for the rights of children in war-torn countries and consistently works to raise awareness about their struggles.

     

    Katrina Sriranpong supports multiple organizations, including Amnesty International, UNICEF, War Child, Save the Children, the Orangutan Project, New Hope Foundation, Soi Dog Foundation, and Elephant Nature Park.

     

    She enjoys spending time with her family traveling through Thailand and hiking around the beautiful North Shore trails of Vancouver. She also enjoys reading about health and nutrition and advocating for vulnerable groups forcefully displaced from conflict regions.
